That’s the view from my desk to my bed.

That’s the view at a junior senior concert which was great. It’s taking longer then I expected to get the internet up and running… I just phoned up today and we’ll have it installed a week from next wensday.

Well I’ve moved into my house. It’s really nice. A bit rough around the edges but it’s big and in a nice location and has plenty of room for improvement. Right now I’m sitting in the SOAS library using their internet via my laptop. It feels great to be back at SOAS, my student card worked without a hitch. That plus the immigration agent saying “welcome back” as he stamped through have made me feel much more like I belong here.
I’ll post some pictures of our actual house once I get the internet all set up. I just ordered it today and I suspect they’ll install it probably in a week.

Yesterday Chris took his driving theory test in the morning (and passed) and went to work. So I walked into Oxford with his Cousin and Aunt and had lunch at a really nice cafe, and subsequently fell in love with the waitress. Then I went to see what was showing at the Modern Art museam, they had an exhibition on Oxfordshire childrens art. After that I took the bus back to Chris’ and played banjo, read, and napped. When he got back from work we took the bus up to the Cotswolds to visit Peter in Chipping Norton. He had a lovely house, very picturesque. We had dinner with his family and then went to his local pub to have a drink. After the pub his sister drove us to Woodstock and we caught a late bus back to Oxford.
Today we’re going into London to take care of some business and to goto a party Mary’s having at her new place.

I arrived at Heathrow this morning, caught a bus to Oxford and met Chris. We had a short cup of tea at the bus station then brought my luggage to his house and met Amanda, Ed, Lucy, and Peter for lunch in town. Then we walked around on some canals back to Chris’ house. Played some Settlers of Catan with Chris’ brother and friends. And now I’m super tired and ready to catch some sleep. I’m going into London on Friday to do some bank buisness etc… and we’re moving in on Monday. Should be exciting.

I’m off, back to England.
EDIT: Packing is an art, and I have mastered it.
